Alien Outdoor Gear

"Based out of Madison, Wisconsin, Alien Outdoor Gear is a single person cottage company started by Brandon York. Inspired by a silly name that he and friends called their hiking group, Aliens, Brandon wanted to honor his friends and all that they learned together with Alien Outdoor Gear.

Jolly Gear
Jolly Gear

"During his thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, Jolly noticed that everyone has to choose between the protection of a sun hoodie or the ventilation of a full button down. After hiking a few days with another hiker named Max, who was wearing his mother’s cotton half button hooded gardening shirt, Jolly knew that it was time to make a new technical sun shirt with no compromise."

Town Shirt
Town Shirt

"Dylan “Pickle” Tonkin, a native of Pennsylvania, thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2016 and the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018. It wasn’t just the walking that made thru-hiking memorable for Dylan. It was the people he met along the way and the incredible landscapes that brought the community together.

With the iconic plants that we’ve all come to know and love along the footpaths we call home, Dylan has collaborated with artists and trail angels to create nostalgic Hawaiian-style Town Shirts in true-to-trail prints that connect our community and can even stand up to a thru-hike."
