I've used these on several occasions now, mostly while running and once using hiking poles. They fit great over liners and are just roomy and warm enough. Sometimes too warm with liners, but that's why you can flip the top flap over your fingers to allow some airflow. However, my first realization was that the upper part does not go over the bottom part of the mitt enough. And the seam on the outer edge sometimes rubs against my hand and feels like it's twisted. So overall great function but execution could use improvement.

They kept my hands warm and allowed them to breath, especially later in the run. This may seem silly, but having access to my fingers to start and stop my watch and punch the code into the garage door opener without taking the gloves off is awesome.

I have a small hand , ordered a small from the given measurements provided, when I tried them on , they are snug , prefer looser fit . But on the plus side they are soft and love the color

These are great! Not totally sure what other people in the reviews were expecting? Obviously this isn't going to be some heavy duty waterproof glove. I have the OR version of these which are my go-to backpacking mittens and when I saw this version that makes your fingers accessible I was sold! Been wearing these the past couple of days in -20 weather we are having here in Montana and they have been great. Not doing any hiking in these temps, but walking to and from the car, work, and as driving mittens when my car is warming up they have performed great. I love being able to keep the rest of my hand warm while I quickly slip out a finger to answer a phone call or send a text. I got the size small and they fit perfect. I am usually a size small in gloves, a very average hand for a 5'5 female.

My husband and I both ordered these using the sizing chart, which is based on hand circumference only. If you're hoping for overlap between the finger flap and the palm, you will most likely be disappointed. The small went on my hand nicely, but there was a gap between the palm and the flap. I tried on my husband's medium. The fit was okay, but the thumb was too long and the flap and palm fabric just barely overlapped. My husband had a hard time getting the cuff of the medium over the widest part of his hand, and there was again a gap between the palm fabric and flap, which defeats much of the purpose of the mitten. Incredibly soft and cute, but I don't know how they perform in cold weather since we're returning them.
