These Alpha™ Direct Camp Socks are made to take the edge off during those cold nights at camp and weigh a mere 25 Grams. With a thin elastic at the cuffs and tall enough to tuck your thermals into. Recommended only for sleeping and around camp, not for walking in.
Polartec® Alpha™ Direct fleece fabric has an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, providing active insulation and helping regulate body warmth for optimized comfort during stop-start activities. Its lightweight lofted fibers, mesh knit, and hydrophobic qualities make Alpha™ warmth-to-weight dependable, highly breathable, and fast-drying.

Was worried that they wouldn’t fit as I wear size 13 M US, 28.5cm monopoint. But they fit great. They dry super fast therefore don’t tend to stink. Very lightweight, saved a few oz over my other socks. Compress down saving space. Comfortable. Warm. Only downside is they are not durable but for me they don’t need to be as I only use them for sleeping. Awesome upgrade highly recommend.

Well made, definitely not for walking around in but that's clearly stated in the description. I got these mainly to throw on in really cold conditions. They weigh next to nothing which is the key. Fit nicely, I'm a 10.5 men's and I bought size large.

These Alpha material socks are only for wearing in the tent, or while in your quilt or sleeping bag, but they add a nice bit of warmth if you’ve got cold feet. Because of the open mesh of the Alpha material, There would be a risk wearing them out with sandals at night to answer the call of nature of snagging them on sticks and pine needles. At 25 grams per pair, these are 2+ ounces lighter than my previous pair of socks I used. They compress down smaller in my pack, too.
