Torrid Booties
These are fantastically warm and super light slipper booties. I keep them in my sleeping bag while on the trail, so they are easy to find at night. They take up little room and keep my cold feet toasty. I even wear them in bed at home. Love this product!

Warm Booties
My backpacking days are mostly over. As I have aged, I have increasing difficulty keeping my feet warm at night. I am wearing these booties in bed during the winter. My feet are nice and warm in them. Also, they weigh practically nothing, so would be a great addition for backpackers with cold feet.

The squirrels are never big enough
They weigh 80 grams for the pair (size 2XL), they seemed a little bulkier than I expected at first but I’m sure they’ll squish down nicely once at the bottom of my pack. I have size 14 UK / size 15 US feet and these are a bit small, the sole part is shorter than my foot but they are so baggy it’s kind of ok. They are a weird shape, more like a triangle than following the contours of your foot and ankle, a bit like how you used to draw the boots on Santa Clause when you were a kid, so there is some extra unnecessary material flapping around there and possibly not the most efficient shape for keeping the warmth in. That said, they are supposed to be worn in bed so not sure how much the shape matters! It also means that they are very easy to take on and off I guess. The cinch buckle works great at keeping them snug around your ankle, and they seem warm enough. I’m not looking forward to a type of situation where I need to use them as emergency mittens, but also secretly I am, please don’t tell anyone I said this

Great addition to the sleep kit!
These things are really nice and take the comfort rating of my sleeping kit up about 10 degrees, at least.

Staple in my backpacking kit
Love these booties! Probably my favorite luxury item/creature comfort incorporated as part of my sleep system. Have used on thru-hikes of the Uinta Highline and Colorado Trail with great success.
