Super lightweight and packable. Go to choice for wind breaker/rain jacket on AT. Seems to be durable.

    Super product

this jacket is awesome as it is 0 water and windproof, adjustable at hip, wrist, hood around face, and a rear hood velcro adjustment which is great. this 2 ply uses dri pore gen 2 which has a waterproof rating of 20,000 and is fully seam taped! i like the translucunt look and enjoy not needing more than a light sweater or wool long sleeve and remain comfortable. ggg did get the best quality, value, and function of the frogg togg product line. it rocks!

    Best Bang For Your Buck

this is a pretty good deal. i got mine in camo from ft website about a year ago. i think i paid $65. is this the best on the market? maybe, maybe not. pit zips, which it doesn't have, only work so well. if you're putting in long miles wearing any rain jacket, your gonna be wet, if not only from your sweat. that being said, you are relying on the jacket's windbreaking ability to keep you warm, which this does. adjustable velcro cuffs, adjustable cordage around the waist and on the hood. i summited san gorgonio (11,500) a few weeks ago. it was in the 40s at the top with decent wind. all i had on was a sweaty sun hoody and this jacket and i was toasty. the 2 ply fabric is strange, almost plastic. it might even conduct heat, or at least that's what i noticed in the sunlight. i hike in the sw, so to the rest of 'merica, might want to do your own testing but i'm sold. as far as fit, i'm 5'10", 175 lbs with broad shoulders. i got the large knowing i would be layering and it's not too loose fitting by itself. lastly, you can roll this thing tight and use the waist cord to secure it.
