Exactly what I needed
I had been looking for something like this for a while, and got it out of a desire to be prepared. Turns out I needed it not two days later, and it did the job well! It was a pretty deep wood splinter, and this was perfect.
Only missing one thing
sliver grippers are great but i was disappointed to not receive the keychain clip that is usually included when purchased from the manufacturer or from other retailers.
Great for slivers and especially... (ewww!) tick removal!
I bought my first pair of this style of tweezer (made by Tweezerman) decades ago because I thought the sharp point would be great for getting out slivers...and it was. I keep them in my camping first aid kit. We were on a trip to Cumberland National Seashore, and found ourselves covered with ticks and chiggers. These tweezers were the best thing for ticks. They pull and crush them at the same time, so you don't need to worry about the tick getting loose and hopping back on for a second meal. We lent them to the others in our camping group, and they were very impressed. It took me a while to find this style and was happy to find them at Garage Grown Gear! I ordered a bunch of these tweezers to give to family and friends because they are so useful.
Your tweezer search is over!!
I've owned these before and they are the best tweezers you can get. I need to buy another 1 or 2 to have stashed. Already dug a huge thorn out of my son's palm. The tips come together with pin point precision allowing you to grab the most difficult thing your after.
