dig dig dig
Highly effective at catholes and trenching tents. Much more comfy to hold than the deuce.

Fantastic trowel
Cuts a cat hole very well, including through roots. I keep it inside a zip lock with other toiletries so the sharp edges aren't an issue in my backpack. It also doubles as a backup tent stake in a pinch.

Great tool
I’ve used a shovel for the longest time and have to say I’m happy with my new trowel. Obviously I can’t dig with it like I did my shovels, but it gets job done, even in root dense south Florida soil, while weighing I think less than a tenth of what the shovel weighs. That to me makes the trade off worth it by a long shot. I also carry a hatchet that I’ve used to soften up the soil before digging with the trowel in cases where the hole needs to be dug quickly.
Strong and fast
this makes a cat hole really fast and easy especially in missouri where there's a lot of roots and rocks. however, when using it i did cut my hand on the top handle part. not badly but enough to be more concerned next time. you also have to find a place for it in your bag that won't cut your bag up.
It slices, it dices, it even digs you a cat hole!
this trowel is awesome. because this is made of titanium the serrations work great for processing firewood. for larger stuff, it cuts just deep enough to be able to use leverage to break dry branches where you need them to be cut down for firewood and doesn't seem to dull at all. for this reason, this piece of kit has made itself a permanent fixture in my load out. my only gripe is the handle is not super comfortable when digging, but the design allows for you to mash it with rocks and also use as a sand/snow steak so it's only a minor gripe.
