The Desert pack was designed for longer, heavier hauls.
It has a tad more internal volume than the V2 to accommodate for long carries and shoulder season conditions, perfect for normal thru-hikes. The adjustable side pockets are roomier and easily fit two water bottles. It includes a stashable hipbelt, designated stake pocket, and stretchy bottom and shoulder strap pockets.
