The A-line wrap design allows for a full range of motion while hiking in the elements. Keep your lower half dry without putting your muddy legs and shoes through a pair of pants. A bonus is that while the fabric is non-breathable, by nature a rain skirt offers ventilation from the bottom.

I purchased the size that my waist measurement was right in the middle. It wouldn't even go around me. Let alone overlap and keep the rain off. Not sure what the issue is but it did not work!
