I bought 2 pairs of these - one for a gift for a friend whose dermatologist recommended them; the other for myself. I love the color, the light weight and overall comfort of them. I use them for driving (my job requires me to be in the car a lot), and I barely know I am wearing anything. Wish I had discovered these 20 years ago but glad I have them now!

I typically wear a sun hoodie with thumb holes to cover my hands. However, I bring these gloves for a few reasons: They are light weight, comfortable to wear, provide an evaporative cooling effect, reduce hand swelling at high altitude, and protect against friction / hot spots while using trekking poles. I permethrin treated them before heading to Yosemite and it was a joy to watch mosquitos land, try in vain to bite my hand, then die a glorious death!

I got these to wear on a multi day hiking trip with llamas. I was concerned that the constant use of holding the llama lead would cause them to stretch out excessively. They didn’t. The fit remained snug throughout.
