001 by norda™ has a stack height that is generous enough to reduce impact forces from very long days on feet without sacrificing the ground feel needed to not constantly roll your ankles or cause trepidation in veering off into unruly terrain. Basically, you can consider the 001 your daily driver workhorse designed for terrain of all distances and difficulty. Built with the world’s first seamless Bio-Dyneema® upper and exclusive Vibram® midsole and soleplate, the 001 is engineered with the lightest and strongest materials for mindless comfort on mindful pursuits. This long-lasting shoe is made for exceptionally long thru-hikes proving that sustainability and durability are possible together.

Note: Every individual has different expectations for their shoes. nordas™ are put through rigorous lab testing and trail running before final production. As a general rule, shoes should last a year and should be replaced every 700km (500 miles). That being said, many athletes are racking up over 1600km (1,000 miles) on their nordas™ and swear they still feel great.
