RovyVon brought glow-in-the-dark to the mini keychain flashlight field back in early 2018 - the 1st generation of Aurora A5. 4 years passed by and the A5 is now to the 4th generation - the USB-C and metal button generation.
The 4th generation A5 runs a 330mAh Li-polymer rechargeable battery via the USB-C port and can fully charge the battery in 1 hour. The Aurora A5 (G4) pocket clip integrates a magnet that makes the keychain light a hands-free work light. The back end was redesigned as well to be able to buckle up a magnetic tail base, to be more flexible in the workspace. The Aurora A5 has a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation.

It’s bright enough to use as a mini lantern. Has a red light feature for bug avoidance and not blinding your camp mates. Has a lock out. Creates nice redundancy with my chargeable headlamp at a weight penalty of around half an ounce. Why not just get one and clip it on your pack.

This is an excellent flashlight for every day carry and use. Several reviewers have stated that the function of the light with its two buttons is difficult to remember. Simply not an issue. Smart enough to operate a vehicle, smart enough to operator a flashlight. Item description is clear for what you’re getting. There are single button, extremely simple flashlights out there, but nowhere near the performance and functionality of this light. Only down side is, does not have a pocket for carrying my oranges, and does not come with a remote control. Know what you’re buying.
United StatesThis thing is so cool. I love the side light feature, I am going to try replacing my heavier tent lantern with this. I like that although the battery only lasts about 8 hours, it rechargea in an hour. Very versatile, bright, and weighs next to nothing.
