Six Moon Design's Polycro footprint is made from ultra strong and ultra light Polycro membrane. Designed for shrink wrap and frequently used as a second thermal layer for windows, this material is exceedingly rugged. While not as durable as Tyvek, it'll provide significant protection and weighs virtually nothing.
Be careful though, this material is so light, it'll blow away in a light breeze. Be sure to weight it down after you spread it out.
Sold as a 2-pack for twice the protection.

If you’re careful these can last many seasons of backpacking (or bikepacking, for me) . I fold loosely and then stuff into my tents stuff sack. This takes up barely any volume.

I didn’t know if these would work very good, but we used them on a 5 day trip in the mountains during some terrible thunderstorms. Used them for a tent footprint on some very rocky ground, used them to cover items and used to put our gear on while packing up in the rain. They’re super light and thin, take up barely any space and seem fairly durable. They’re not as strong as some and I’m sure they won’t last forever but for the price I’d say it was a win.

Using the size small was perfect used in conjunction with my DIY mid style tarp. Protecting my gear from moisture was my main concern during a 5day push through the windriver range. It was a bit tricky to setup when windy but that comes with anything truly ultralight. There were no punctures to the sheet and it packs up small.
