These little gluten-free macaroons are what started it all. This was one of the first recipes that Heather developed with her small home dehydrator back in 2011. Now, Packaroons have made their way into packs across the globe, providing adventurers with healthy calories when they need them most.

i've tried all of the packaroons. on our latest hike, after the first one of this flavor, i had to force myself to eat the remaining two since that was all i had. these reminded of soap or.... something..... it just had a flavor in there i can't nail down and that wasn't nearly as pleasant as all of their others.

Purchased a few of these for my recent 20 mile hike at Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas. These are lightweight, flavorful, dense snacks that fit perfectly in my Osprey Backpack. Will buy more for our next hike.
