Rainy day in the middle of the Bob Marshall Wilderness CDT this summer. My lighter had gotten wet and this multi tool wouldn’t spark to light my stove, not good as I had no other options. Trying & trying with the fuel escaping wasn’t an option out there. ? Maybe it won’t work in damp weather?

Was able to start a fire on the first flick...used it to keep my Garmin within reach...and cut some rope that had gotten knotted...all on the same backpacking trip. Can't go wrong with a multi-use carabiner!! Great gadget!
