Qi Wiz just loves making something that is the lightest option you can find. Since its debut in 2012, numerous improvements in design were suggested by users and by his own experiences with it on trail. The result is that this is just about the lightest right-sized collapsible wood burning stove you can get.
Features:
- FireFly assembles and comes apart easily and quickly
- Designed to work very well with the vast majority of pots that backpackers use, from small cooking mugs to large pots with a diameter of up to 6 inches
- The FlexPort allows you to feed longer pieces of wood into the firebox and is super useful for feeding the fire more easily, but also controlling fire temperature for simmering, baking, and grilling food
- Easy to light from either underneath the mesh floor (bottom lighting), through an open FlexPort (side lighting), or with a small fire started on top of a twig load (top lighting), and has a strong chimney effect to get twigs burning quickly
- Fuel box below your pot holds 42 cubic inches of fuel
Pot NOT included
*Note: One loose filling of twigs will usually boil a couple cups of water, but it is easy to add additional twigs or other fuel as needed.

Excellent wood stove
I bought this stove over 10 years ago off whiteblaze forums and I'm now back purchasing another one because I gave mine to my daughter. If you don't mind a little soot on your pot this stove is 2nd to none. Free fuel everywhere.

Little Fire Pit
Once it lit it burned well. I was able to lit it by putting dried grass on top of my twigs. I put a aluminum saucer underneath so it did not burn below. I had a bottle of water nearby to extinguish it once it was lit.

A lot of fun, ultralight, and easy to use!
Measured on my scale at 2.5oz. It was a bit awkward setting it up the first few times but now it's a breeze and fires are super easy to get started. It's good if you're looking for something to keep busy with at camp and not looking for something to boil water super fast. It does burn through twigs fast, so I recommend testing it before taking it on the trail so you can get a sense of how much wood you'll need. I'm just barely able to fit my Toaks 750ml on it.
Great Design - Very light
cool, simple design that packs nearly flat and is very light. the flexport really does work nicely. i’d love to see this in a little larger model as well.
