Great headlamp
I’ve only been hiking a year, and I’ve bought a whole lot in the time period. This is the 4th headlamp I’ve bought just to compare performance. This is the best one so far. It’s the lightest and the brightest. I used it during a full moon hike and the medium setting lit up the trail like it was daytime. I recommend this to anyone.
Light enough & bright enough for backpacking
I wasn't sure if I would like this headlamp. I've seen them around for years, and I always thought that the headband looked pretty uncomfortable. I finally decided to give it a shot, and it turns out I was wrong. I found the headband to be quite comfortable once you have it adjusted correctly for your head. The headlamp feels like it looks - barely there. You can easily adjust the angle of the light. The headlamp cord is reflective, making it easy to find in the dark. I also really like that the white light modes and the red light modes are activated using separate buttons. I just learned about lockout mode by reading another customer's review. That solves, literally, my only complaint. That I worried it would get bumped into the on position in my pack. Five stars!
Looks Great!
Haven't had it on trail yet, but it seems really nice. Lighter and brighter than my old Nitecore. Which has had many many trail miles with no problems. Can't wait to try it out!
Lightweight with options
This is a big upgrade from my first, cheap headlamp. It’s extremely small and light weight. I like how there are buttons for each white and red light. I don’t have to cycle through 7 “modes” to turn it off. I generally only use it at camp and in my tent, so the “low” is perfect. It’s enough light to see what I’m doing, but doesn’t burn through my battery. The turbo mode is ridiculously bright for how small this headlamp is if you need it. My favorite part is holding both buttons to “lock” it. I’ve had my cheap headlamp accidentally get turned on in my pack before and wasted the whole battery which was really inconvenient. This has every feature I need and there isn’t anything I would change about it.

My wife saw me constantly using a headlamp and said "I would like one of those". I was surprised but thought I'll find a really light wt. one and maybe--- Sure enough she loves it! It gets lots of use. Maybe the most unusual Christmas present I have ever given her. Bravo GGG
