The SOTO Pocket Torch is actually a lighter “attachment”. It converts a standard gas lighter into an efficient and reliable pocket burner. The lighter is simply inserted into the housing. The Pocket Torch generates a very focused and wind-resistant flame that reaches a temperature of approx. 1,300 degrees Celsius. It can easily light candles, stoves or campfires, even in the worst conditions, without a problem.
Pocket Torch uses disposable lighter fuel to become a powerful, wind-resistant burner. The Pocket Torch produces a flame that reaches temperatures up to 1300°C (approx. 2,300 °F). A disposable lighter increases it lifespan by 60% when used with SOTO's Pocket Torch.

CAUTION: The torch may not ignite under colder temperatures or high altitudes above 5,000 ft. / 1,500m.

Wind Prove!!
it doesn’t come with fuel and the instruction about filling is not very clear. there are few youtube videos helps. i don’t know how reliable this item will be since i only used few times. i was amazed how good the lighter was when i light up campfires on the beach with strong wind and not really dry wood. it worked like a champ. since then, i have added this piece to my camping first aid kit.
Great, but short lived
i have two of these. first one quit work after only a few uses. bought the second one thinking the first one was a fluke. second one didn’t last any longer than the first one. but the little refillable lighters are awesome.

I haven’t got to use it, but the quality is great. The lighter is a clear tank & is refillable. It is set inside this torch contraption. You can use the lighter by itself or with the torch gadget. It is powerful in portion to it size.
