Can't wait to use it.

It is exactly what I expected and hoped for. I can't wait to use it. I do wish it had come with instructions for how to tie and hang it. I guess I will look on the Ursack sight to find that.

Initial Reaction: I like it

I haven't had a chance to actually use this on the trail yet so take this just as an unboxing sort of review. I'll update things after I use it earnestly. The bag has some weight to it and it's really stiff when you first handle it. It feels so stiff you don't think the thing will cinch properly. But, after working with it for just a little bit, things loosen up and it feels more like a fabric instead of thick plastic. Still on the stiffer side but not rigid. I wonder what it will feel like on a cold morning and also how much more pliable it'll get over time. The size will be great for a 3-4 day trip and the light color makes it easy to look inside to see the contents. The one thing I don't really like so far -- and this is only a nitpick -- is the way the cinch is designed. It is strung across the middle of the opening, sort of like you'd string shoelaces. So, when you open the bag fully to put something inside, you are fighting the strings that are going across the opening. It's easy enough to move the string aside, but it's something you have to deal with every time you open it. I'm sure they do this for more security/tightness than having the string go around the perimeter, but it makes loading/unloading less of a joy, especially when you're putting something large in the bag. I'm using this for a trip where rodents and other small animals are an issue; it's more than adequate for that use case (overkill maybe). So I am very happy so far. I'm not testing it in bear country yet -- I think I'd still go with my bear can on a trip to the Sierras, even with the weight penalty and rigid form because I wouldn't want to chance my food getting squashed and slobbered on. I also like using my can as a seat. But, if you're used to using bear bags and hangs, this is a very nice option to add to your peace of mind.

Pretty Nice Bag

It's cut much better than most of the other bear bags I've used and saves some weight.

Light and strong

Great so far,I believe it's strong enough, kinda amazing! I'm 250 lbs, I tied it to my deck and I can swing on it.sounds dumb I guess but I test all my gear

My New Food Carry of Choice - Loved it!

I'm been using an URSACK for years and it's a great product... this is an UPGRADE! Now rodent-resistant, water resistant and even lighter... it will be with me on all my hikes in 2024! One issue for new users, the material they use is stuff at first and needs to be gently "worked in" and softened up for it to work best... LOVED it!
