Durable
I give them the balloon test after every use, and they’re still holding air. In my opinion, way better than a buckled up dry bag. Certainly lighter and cheaper.
Simple Solution
I just ordered a new nylofume liner for my upcoming PCT hike. It’s light and incredibly durable. My last nylofume is still going without a leak after two years. Now if only they could find a way to make it just a little bit quieter. It is a little loud and crinkly when you’re trying to break camp early in the morning and avoid disturbing fellow campers.

Hy hikers this liner fits perfectly in my custom made pack wich is 35 liters. Its stronghest then a trash bag.
not durable
Once a tear begins on the opening edge it will quickly tear all the way down. I have switched to trash compactor bags, much more durable.
