Weimunuche wilderness, Co. 24
Am 118 lb, 72 yea old female ordered small medium belt , veteran of many Long Trails. Took this pack on multiple days and night trip from San Juans mts NP thru some weimunche NP 24, starting in Bayfield, Colorado. Needed Bear Can. Carefully considered every dern gram, finding the wt and fit of this pack best for me. able to sqish everything needed in this for carry. Lined pack with thick plastic; pack has inner frame, load lifters; inner sleeve for water bladder; has decent hole for bladder straw and deep side pockets. My Gregory packs fit better but heavier. This pack best for a lighter carry. Recommend

So excited to receive my backpack! Can’t wait to get hiking asap!
Great looking pack, light weight and roomy!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I have no gone on my backpacking trip yet. I can’t make a full review until I actually return from my trip. So far the pack is obviously well made, good quality stitching and seams. I like the layout and compartment designs. Color is simple and neutral.
excellent pack
just finished 550 mile PCT SoCal sections. this pack was great. i changed the stock back cushion to a corrugated z lite pad for better aeration on my back with the desert heat and sweating. the side pockets work great for 1 to 1.5 liter water bottles and my smaller cold soak container. super comfy on the trail. very happy. also used on the JMT and CT trails, and with a bear canister.
Mariposa 60 by Gossamer Gear
Have used it only for a practice hike w/o rain. It carries really well (23lbs). Still, I do miss a proper brain on the pack. This one can only be used for very flat items. For me a brain needs to holds all essentials readily available while securely stored. With this pack I have to leave those items in unsecured mesh pockets. The load lifter straps are highly praised but adjust only minimally which I found disappointing. Mesh pockets are large and hold a lot. I wish there was a good place to hold my foam pad, though. Bulging mesh pockets do not allow me to strap it on. Will see how it goes when I do serious hiking
