Exactly what I was looking for
I have collapsible bottles for running vests, but I was looking for a collapsible lightweight bottle with a leakproof cover, rather than a bite valve for general use. This fits the bill perfectly. As long as you screw the cover on reasonably tightly, it doesn't seem to leak. If you close the cover and give the bottle a good squeeze and nothing comes out, it is probably tight enough. My only negative observation is that the narrow opening is small for filling the bottle or washing. I'll get another one soon, but probably with the larger lid. Obviously, if you have filters, etc., that dictate lid size, that will make the decision for you.

Lid Cracked After 4 Days
I love the idea of this flask, because it's lightweight and see-through, so it should be easy to monitor what you've got left. We used this on a recent 6 day backpacking trip to hold whiskey. After day 3, I started to notice that I could smell whiskey when I opened the food bag, but didn't see liquid at the bottom or any obvious leaking. Night 4 at camp, I opened the food bag to find that most of the whiskey had spilled into the food bag and there were obvious cracks in the lid. I messaged Cnoc on Instagram and they said we likely over-tightened the lid, which is possible I guess, but if it's that delicate then it's not really usable for me. For now we'll stick with our Zpacks titanium flask.

Nice idea but check pocket fit
Saw this on Darwin't YT Channel, and seemed like a good idea. And it is, but be warned if you have UL pack with the lycra shoulder strap pockets ie LiteAF for instance, the 500ml is just a bit to large. It just won't slide down fully into the pocket. It's not going to fall out or anything (except maybe if you tumbled or hung upside down), but even with the shortest straw it does stick up quite a bit, higher than a 700ml bottle for instance. Also it's somewhat tedious to stuff it into a lycra style pocket. Probably works better with mesh-style add on pockets. Not worth returning, I'll find a use for it, but check your pocket before ordering.

Too porous for liquor?
I absolutely love everything else I have from CNOC, so I was really excited to try these ultralight flasks for a little nip at the end of the day, or to supply camp cocktails. I filled it with my favorite whiskey, and all seemed well. As I unpacked my pack when I arrived at my backcountry campsite, I noticed a distinct smell of liquor. At first, I was worried my flask might be leaking. That did not seem to be the case. Since I was camped in bear country, I put the flask in a smell proof bag. That hack seemed to work well for the rest of my trip. Once I arrived home, I left the last couple of shots in the flask, and set it securely closed on the counter and left it alone for a couple of weeks. When I checked on it, I found it completely dry. I suspect the material may be just a little too porous to use with liquor for anything longer than a short trip. I would love to hear other people's experience, since maybe I just got a defective one.
