Delicious!
Perfect portion size. Flavors were good, needed a bit more spice, the crushed red pepper packet helped ,as did a little salt. Next time I think I will add a chicken packet for a little more protein. Definitely purchase again
Perfection!
a friend recommended this brand to me and i ordered the shroomin' roo pasta for a winter camping trip. it was so cold and windy in the woods. i cooked the meal thinking it would be warm and filling and it exceeded all of my expectations. to be eating such yummy food in a gorgeous winter wonderland! i felt like a restaurant had delivered the pasta to me. :) the ingredients are natural and taste fresh. the flavor combinations were perfect and the meal was very filling! yum pouch makes my other camping food taste like cardboard. the packaging is even omnidegradable. great product all around.
Good but...
this meal had lots of "fresh" veggies, which was nice. i found the meal to be a bit bland, so i added a bunch of salt and pepper and a packet of chicken to it which helped. after a bit of doctoring it was pretty tasty! however still felt hungry after a day on the trail. also, the tall narrow pouch is somewhat incompatible with boil-in-bag meals, as it was impossible to fully mix the powder in the bottom of the bag and it was difficult to eat. wont be buying again unless some improvements are made.
tasty and light
this was pretty good! filling but not heavy. sauce was very tasty, if it could somehow be a little creamier, that'd be nice, to stick to the pasta more. i still drank all the sauce in the end. i'm not a vegetarian, so i was tempted to add something to it, like maybe bacon bits. or maybe more mushrooms. planning to add to the regular menu of my hikes...
