Lightweight moisture management for high-intensity cold weather activities
This base-layer long-sleeve mesh shirt provides insulation and breathability. An open-weave "fishnet" construction means perspiration vapor can be rapidly transported to the outer layers and dry faster than a solid knit construction. The Polycolon® mesh provides 4 to 6 times the insulation value of solid knits while keeping moisture off the skin. The solid knit inlay on the shoulder provides a comfortable layer under pack straps.
Polypropylene has a very high strength-to-weight ratio providing super light garments designed to withstand years of extreme use. Brynje Super Thermo garments are exceptional for warm weather use as well because of the thermostatic qualities of the mesh.
Fit:
Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease. This style is a Unisex fit. Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. For example, a Unisex S is equivalent to a Women’s M.

Best shirt I own
Used this for a winter accent of Adirondack high peak. This is by far the best climate control I have experienced. No sweat and super warm soft and comfy. I'm not sure about future body odor but this is my new primary under layer.

I’d normally return a shirt that was full of holes…
…but this is the best base layer I’ve ever had.

Brynje thermal underwear
I work on the north slope of Alaska and am frequently going back and forth between a warm work truck and working outside in cold and windy conditions. On a daily basis I found myself overheating in the truck and getting too cold outside. I saw a YouTube review of Brynje’s thermal underwear and immediately ordered a set. When I opened the package I found exactly what I expected, long, skinny underwear designed for a young athletic body. I am neither of those things! However, the thermals did fit quite well and proved to be my immediate favorites! Now I am much more comfortable in the truck and out of it. I used to use more layers when it was very cold out and I find I don’t need to do that when wearing the Brynje thermals. I plan on ordering more!

Brynje mesh base layer lives up to its promise
After reading the various YouTube reviews, I decided to give this product a try. I did a short day hike with snow shoes in 27 degree weather on a 750 ft elevation mountain nearby. The mesh was plenty warm…I hike with just the base layer, an outer shell and a fastpack and was very comfy. The mesh did an excellent job shedding moisture…better than my usual merino layer. 30 minutes into my drive home from the trailhead it was bone dry. I am a convert! It does look ridiculous, but I just won’t let my wife see me put it on 😉

Straight Talk
Hard to think of higher praise for a product than confirming that it performs EXACTLY the way its manufacturer says it does. Pricey? Yep. Worth the price? For my money, yes.
