The 15 denier mesh of the Ultra-Fine Mosquito Head Net keeps its weight down by almost 50% compared to Sea to Summit's standard Mosquito Head Nets, and the ultra-fine mesh keeps even the smallest insects at bay - including no-see-ums, sand-flies and midges.
The Ultra-Fine Mesh Mosquito Head Net might be the smallest and lightest thing in your pack – but if you're headed for areas where bugs are prevalent, it may be the most valuable piece of gear you'll take with you.

This is the only head net you want
I took one of these to Scotland. It worked great with midges.

yay! no bug bites
it was easy to put on, stayed in place, and kept my head free of bug bites. Can't say the same for the rest of me - they were vicious, lots of bites right through clothing!

Kept my head clear of skeeters
It was lightweight, unobtrusive, and easy to put on. The skeeters found other parts of me to attack though, so only my head escaped unscathed

Sanity Saver
Quality that weighs almost nothing. Bugs in the north on the AT are relentless and brutal. Blocks mosquitos, black flies, horse flies, even no-see-ums. You will turn to this more than bug spray. This is 'must have' gear.

A head net will save your whole trip
I didn’t end up needing this after all on my recent backpacking trip, but I am not sad that I bought it. If I had needed one it would have saved the whole trip from being miserable.
