When the ground just isn’t an option…mount the Orkso Tree Table at any height on the trunk of a tree using the included 48″ long strap and dual adjustable clip. True ultralighters will leave the included strap and clip at home and instead use something they are already carrying such as a rope, or even your belt. Then place your kitchen kit on top for easy access – and save your back. Prep meals, boil water, or conjure up your favorite chef’s meal.
On each side are 2 mounting grooves to place utensils, carabiners, and other cook kit items, while a branch or similar item placed through the bottom of the main platform support legs can be used to hang a water bladder, gravity filter, or even drape your clothes to dry.
Use the Orkso Tree Table with a trunk or branch that is 6″ to 12″ in diameter for optimal sturdiness. Maximum weight is ~6 lbs (2.5 kg). Mounting strap is included, but many prefer to utilize one of their items that they are already carrying (ie. backpack strap, rope, belt, etc)

Good Table
i have used the table once and it worked. to improve the table i first sanded the perimeter to break the sharp edges. i then drilled a small hole near the tree-side of the tabletop so i could use a piece of cord to tie the parts together for transport. i next drilled a small hole in the tabletop next to each leg support. i ran a small piece of 1/8" shock cord through the hole and knotted it on each end to prevent loss of the cord. when the legs are inserted into the table, the shock cord is pulled into the tabletop groove behind the leg tabs to secure the leg by friction fit. this prevents the legs from falling out easily. this simple modification has made setting the table up easier for me. there is no need to drill holes in your tabletop to try this mod. i have bought a 1/2" g-hook from dutchware to modify the strap to remove the buckle. i haven't sewed a loop to my strap yet though.
Mixed thumbs up
i have used this thing about five times now and i am very mixed on it. i frequently solo hammock camp and sometimes i am very fond of it. and sometimes i look at the 3.2oz grudgingly. pros - very light compared with the other primary option in this space (dutchware 2qzq at >7oz and frequently out of stock). i sometimes really appreciate not having to bend over to use the stove (especially coffee in the morning). cons - it is kind of a pita to deploy. and sometimes it does not get used at all. and the edges come sharp but it holds my stove and i can dangle my ditty bag from it. also a nice platform to deal with things like my contacts. so a solid four stars. is it perfect? no. but my skill at levitation is limited, so it appears to be as good as it gets. also, the edges come sharp. use some sandpaper or a file on all the edges. i also pack it in my food pouch cozy for added padding.
Tree table
Very pleased, keeps me from bending over when cooking eggs and bacon. Keep a hand on handle to take weight off table, works fine !
Does the job
Always looking for a flat place to boil water. This stand provides it and saves my old knees from having to get down so low. Love it!
Mixed, though a good concept
just had this out for the first night. things i don’t like: - i fear for my pack with this thing. the edges are seriously sharp (mine is silver, not blue fwiw). it would not take much for this to slice my pack. i packed it very carefully, but that alone may prove to be a deal breaker. - wobbly to deploy. others have said this. but it was much easier in my home than it was at twilight after hiking five miles. things i like: -3oz. seriously. this alone may have. e keep it till it messes up my pack. i will also say, it is pretty small. it held my pocket rocket stove with small fuel bottle and barely a cup. and then you need to make sure it is cinched tight as the weight differential will cause it to shift. so yeah. small, wobbly and i worry it will damage other gear. but super light and nice to not hunker down to make my coffee. this is not it’s last trip. but it is very much on the ‘watch list’ of gear that may end up at the resale shop.
