Compact enough to fit in your pocket - it sets up easily with a couple of trekking poles for a well formulated, high-tenacity, catenary cut waterproof experience. Seams come sealed so you’re good to go right out of the box, and the tapered design delivers a maximum space-to-weight ratio and better performance when the weather totally blows.

Keep it simple
A bit of a learning curve to learn how to set it up but once I got it, it’s a great tarp! Plenty of room, withstood wind, snow & rain and I was comfortable. I used it on the AZT for a section hike and I’m glad I brought this lil guy.
well made, light, small, impressive
i used my new tarp on a multi-day bikepacking trip to provide extra cover for my bivy and items i carried with me. this thing packs down to a super small size, and even then. could be squished into small spaces in my pack. it was easy to set up, and performed well through a breezy night on lake superior. i used a 42" pole for the head, 30" for the feet per gossamer gear's specs. poles were set up with 10" segments to easy carry on a bike. i'll definitely be buying more gg products, super happy with this.

First impression
I wanted a lightweight tarp to use as an additional shelter for when it rains when I'm backpacking and not staying in a shelter. My old tarp weighs 25oz & needed replacing. The ties were short on this tarp because it's designed as a tarp tent so I bought 1.8mm paracord & replaced the 4 corner cords with 10' paracord so I can tie them to trees/my poles & sit under it. In its stuff sack, with the 4 longer cords & 4 stakes it weighs only 9.5oz! Very excited to try it out!
