Excellent Daypack
Super light. The outside mesh pockets is perfect for quick access to a shell layer. The pockets on the shoulder straps are the perfect size for the thing you need while tramping. I carried hydration packs, protein bar, and my phone for pictures in them. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the hip belt. However that is detachable so I just took it off. With the size of the pack I didn’t really need it. It does add some additional quick access pockets if you want more.

Awesome Pack!
I had some specifics that I wanted from a pack and this one fit them all: shoulder strap pockets, slim but usable hip belt, easy access and sufficient pockets. My only complaint is that my arms are too short to take my water bottle out of the side pockets. I have to use the strap pockets, which was fine since my bottles fit them. I've only used it for one trip but each day I used it, I was happy with the pack. I love that it is so lightweight!

Solid Piece of Kit
Very comfortable with ~8kg in it running and climbing a serious amount of vert this weekend. I really liked the hip belt pockets capacity. I do find the phone pocket a bit fiddly and if you have a "Max" sized phone in a case I don't think it will fit.
Tested on Kilimanjaro
after falling in love with running vest packs (shoulder strap pockets and the use of a chest harness), including a bd distance 8l & 22l, i needed bigger for my kmj trek (25-35l). really only found this pack to meet the needs. it is light and i like the bottle holders, particularly for winter hiking, which the bd doesn't have. i didn't find the side-entry bottle access helpful, just from the top. this also has a grey body which makes it easier to find stuff over the bd's black body. the shove-it pouch is goof & can be used without taking the pack off. the hydration mount is abysmal - just a closed loop. i had to get a carabiner and strap to mount my bladder. harness isn't great. it doesn't carry the weight that well. may be due to the padding. i found myself lifting the bottom of the pack up occasionally to take the strain off my shoulders. most days i had 8-12 pounds. the collar can extend high and hold alot - but most of the time i had the straps all the way down. while it felt roomy, i don't think it can really handle the weight of being full, circa 20 pounds. i used the waist belt once. not sure of the purpose. it doesn't hold weight & makes it feel more like a regular pack. it does give you two more zippered pockets. i much preferred to wear the gossamer gear ***** pack instead. the shoulder strap pockets were good, a little roomier than my bd. now that my trek is over, i won't use this pack much. perhaps for an overnight bivy.

Comfy pack!
Mostly using for backpacking but I love it compared to my original kumo 36. GG nailed it with the vest pockets!
