United Statesmy favorite summer backcountry shirt
I wore this shirt for three days straight on backpacking trip in hot, humid summer weather. Its my favorite hiking and backcountry shirt for summer weather, it works to keep both sun and mosquitos off the skin. I got the Evergreen UL color-- I love the color! The shirt is very lightweight and dries quickly too. I'll be buying more Jolly Gear in the future, well worth the money. Thanks for the awesome gear!

sorry, this garment reminds me of something my grandmother sewed together with samples or remnants of discarded, but still useable cloth. I like the idea, especially the sun hoodie, but being a shy person, this is too "loud " for me and most hikers we've met, prefer solitary pursuits. Apparently the former user thought negatively of it, as it was obtained a used item, re-sale shop bought for pennies. We took it home and washed it.

My hubby and I bought the sun hoodie for our summer backpacking adventure in Kluane National part. 8 days in the wilderness. We both loved the button down shirt aspect and good bit both of us noticed the stench of BO very quickly. Held sweat , dried slowly and both of our shirts ripped on the sleeve. We were on a route and not trail so were bushwhacking often but still…. Overall would not replace with the same.
