Ultra 3R Duo is a lightweight and compact sleeping mat for two: featuring recycled 20 D ripstop face fabric and certified carbon neutral by myclimate. It is perfect for human-powered adventures including backpacking, thru-hiking, bike packing, and alpinism.
EXPED's SYNMAT TECHNOLOGY™, featuring Texpedloft insulation welded to the top and bottom of the air chambers, ensures maximum warmth over the lifetime of the mat while a 7 cm thick air cushion cradles the body. These air chambers run head to toe, fully supporting the body for an unrivaled night's sleep and giving maximum durability.

Works great for light weight couples backpacking!
have this in medium, used it for around 320mi in the sierra so far. absolutely love this versus strapping two pads together, as we always had cold points, were sliding, falling through, or both. the dual-chamber design, making it two pads fused together, is fantastic, and i like the side rails. the schnozzle can double as a pack liner, and has worked better than i expected it to for inflating versus just using my lungs. this fits into our x-mid pro2 without scraping the sides, and moving around in our sleep is fairly mitigated for the other person sleeping with you. we use a 20*f ee accomplice double quilt in tandem with this, and really enjoy it. have used it down to about 15*f without feeling much chill at all. i want them to make an ultra version of their 5r pad for winter!
