This umbrella did a great job protecting me from the rain in the Scottish Highlands along the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way. It resisted the wind very well and didn't get punctured even though every plant in the UK wants to stab you. The locals kept telling me the umbrella wouldn't work but lo and behold it kept me dry and comfortable the entire time. My only gripe was the handle shape, which ironically, is the same reason I bought this model in particular. It is more comfortable when held in hand but wasn't ideal for using the umbrella hands free. I wish it was less contoured like a hand and more narrow and tubular with ridges.
