Teriyaki Chicken & Rice
This was a tasty meal but there was way too much water. I added the recommended 2.25 cups and it was basically soup. If I get this again I will add half the amount of water.
Yummy in a perfect package...but needs more calories
this is my new almost-favorite mre/dehydrated meal brand! yay, trailtopia! the two different products i bought, chicken teriyaki and jambalaya, will spice your socks off. do not spork this down if you're needing to conserve water because it is spicylicious! it is in a small pack and carries well, rehydrated well, and...hold it, wait for it....it is horizontal which means it is easier to eat out of than the typical tall pouches! it's loaded with protein and good stuff, and not loaded with chemicals. however, it needs another 100 calories in the pouch. trailtopia is on my next thru-hike list again!

My review is two parts: the food and Garage Grown Gear. Garage Grown Gear was excellent in the ordering and delivery process. Their prices are incredibly reasonable. GGG gets five stars! Regarding the Teriyaki Chicken & Rice by Trailtopia, it was okay. The teriyaki sauce was light; could have used more of it—also a tad bland (targeting the entire world audience). Filling and sound sustenance, however, not one I'd buy again. I've enjoyed other Trailtopia food; this wasn't their best effort. Trailtopia gets three of five stars.
