Seems good
My camping trips have all been cancelled this far due to hurricane Helene but I will say that this my first hiking umbrella. I was a little skeptical that it would not be well put together or worth the price but so far it seems really well made (as compared to a normal umbrella) and I so happy to use it not only for hiking but normal rainy weather around town.
Cool in Texas
Quite a difference in heat when we were under our new umbrella. Staying cool in the Texas heat is a must!!
Works Great
Want sure what I'd think heard some people say out didn't do well in the wind. My first trip with it was extremely windy with intermittent sprinkles. It did way better then expected for it's weight. The sides bend in the wind but bounce right back after. I just used my trekking pole for extra support, still keeps the blowing sand and wind down. Did amazing in the rain and keeps the heat of the sun down. Like it enough I'm definitely adding it to my OR/WA PCT 2023 trip. Also helped with spider webs.
