I specifically bought this product because Starbucks discontinued their Via mocha option and I wanted some mocha for backpacking breakfasts. I am not a coffee drinker normally, so I count on the chocolate to overpower the coffee flavor. I like that Cusa Coffee doesn't add sugar, but the chocolate flavor was lacking. I ended up adding two teaspoons of hot cocoa powder to the cup and that fixed the flavor issue for me. This is how I'll be packing them for backpacking this summer.

i love cusa’s black and green teas and so wanted to love this as well. the strength is pretty weak compared to some other instant or pourover coffees. i doubled up on packets and it tasted more like hot cocoa than a mocha. not bad for a backcountry brew but not my first choice.

Mocha Instant Coffee by Cusa Tea & Coffee is a welcome change and improvement over straight instant coffee. The mocha is a nice touch.
