Wow - move over BeFree?
first things first..i’m a katadyn owner of the 1liter and 0.6liter katadyn filter bottle and the hydrapak 2 liter . im on my 4th filter. i like katadyn. that was until a thrifty trail friend decided to try the be free. my next declaration : ive always considered lifestraw as a gimmicky drinking tube for swamp dwellers! well clearly i am now choosing to out myself as wrong! yes… go buy this filter set up. it can use the existing katadyn/hydrapak stuff. it can back flush!!!! it seems to clean better than katadyn. it can be disassembled and turned into a ‘sawyer-like-smartwater-fiiting outside-the-bottle’ kinda filter. it can gravity drip. ok. thats all. carry on!
