Well made, versatile little pocket. Large fits my Samsung Galaxy S10 well.

Great little pouch
I just got in my order from GGG, and I was immediately impressed by the quality. This is my first Gossamer Gear product, and while I knew they were good, the build quality is some of the best I've seen for this type of accessory. It's perfect for sliding my phone, a small point and shoot camera, snacks, or any cool rocks I find. The outer mesh compartment is also really nice, especially for small, flat items like a whistle. It fits perfectly on the strap of my Osprey Atmos 50, and I'm super excited to test it out on my next trip!

Very convenient
I was looking for somewhere convenient to keep my phone, sunglasses, and pocket knife. My hip pack, and hip belt pockets are usually stuffed so i don't feel comfortable keeping sunglasses in there and i don't like how they feel hanging from my collar. this shoulder strap pocket is easy to access so if i see a good view it takes way less time to whip out my phone to click a picture. I knocked off a star because depending on your backpack it can be hard to keep the pack from sliding down the arm straps. It works well with my backpack and can be good enough if you place it where the chest strap meets the shoulder straps.

Thank you, GGG, for getting this to me quickly after sending me the wrong pocket! It's on my day pack gor now and is a great addition to my gear!
