Great concept, but side pockets are a dealbreaker.
I bought the Skala 38 to use on shorter trips instead of my Mariposa 60. The pack is well-made, light, and has the clean GG aesthetic I love. But I had to return it because I couldn’t reach my water bottle in the side pocket while wearing it — despite the product description saying it’s easy to access. At 6'2" with a 19" torso and long arms, I don’t usually have this problem (I can easily reach the bottle on my Mariposa M). Really wanted to like it, but that one flaw made it a no-go for me.
