It's a new edition of The Cache, your bi-weekly roundup for all things ultralight. New gear, new brands, interesting events, curious conversations, sales, giveaways, and just about anything and everything that we find remotely relevant. This week we look at The PCT Survey, Little River Packs, Ultralight Jerk's new website, OR, and Through the Great Southwest!
The 2019 PCT Thru-Hiker Survey!
For the past seven years, Mac from Halfway Anywhere has published an incredibly comprehensive survey on the Pacific Crest Trail. Based on data from 846 hikers, the information he's gathered for 2019 covers demographics, gear, resupplies, start dates, and a ton of other useful and interesting stuff. Regardless of your relationship to the PCT, it's a fascinating read.

Little River Packs Surfaces!
After leaving a number of grumpy customers high and dry during his 2019 hike of the PCT, teenage pack wizard Milo of Little River Packs surfaces with an instagram apology. While his site is closed for orders, we hope he gets back to building packs here soon!
Ultralight Jerk Launches a Website
From Instagram to facebook to a new website! The ever clever Ultralight Jerk (think UL Onion) takes their humor from memes to articles. Stirring the pot as always.
