Solid tent

i own the orange 3 person version of the copper spur hv tent. pros: roomy light easy to pitch water proof cons: lightweight fabric is very fragile. i bought this tent because of its good reviews and capacious design. i needed some elbow room in a tent that was well designed and light weight. inside has lots of pockets, which is a great feature. but, two events have cut the fabric, so we use a ground sheet underneath as well as a light tarp inside the tent to protect the floor from the toenails of the dogs. (my dog caused a 14" cut by just moving around in the tent. we put the dog in the broad end of the tent. with all of the pockets, it doesn't make too much difference to use, with one minor exception -- the little side pockets that most tents have are only at one end of the tent. this tent is also tall enough to sit up in really comfortably, and at 5'4", i can stand up, bent over to put on my pants. this tent can accommodate taller users. i also think 3 people can genuinely use the tent, but y'all better know each other pretty well to do so. so the two people and dog thing works really well. i would buy this tent again, but be advised that for all of the features of this great tent, understand fully that it is built with gossamer fabric. the netting is a little sturdier than the silnylon -- just be careful using the outside zipper. overall -- it's a great tent.
