Ridge Merino's original Inversion Bottom are 100% Merino wool long johns intended for layering in cold conditions. Great-fitting, sweat-wicking, breathable and odor-resistant, these feel great next-to-skin and will keep you comfortable all day long.
The 3/4 length is designed to sit above the top of the boot and worn in combination with long sport-specific socks so your long johns don't throw off the precise fit of your boots.

Surprised!
bought these early last summer for my warm/dry sleep clothes for a hike. thought i'd be bothered a bit by the short leg, and i did find the lack of coverage meeting socks (as expected) a bit bothersome. but! this winter i brought them out again to use as winter tights, and am stunned at how warm they are, even as the only layer outside in the cold/wind! they're perfect with a quilted skirt, and absolutely outperform wool tights from a larger manufacturer that cost just about twice as much! love love love these!
