Nice Sun Protection
I am a redhead with a skin tone best described as medium vampire. I have had skin cancer, and my skin reacts to most sunscreens. I was intrigued by this, because I do prefer to wear dresses most of the time. It did not disappoint and was very comfortable. I am only 5'1", so it hits closer to the knee on me than in the photo, and it blouses a little above the waist. I recommend it highly.

Great dress a little short
Love this dress, but it is a little short waisted. I am 5’9” and have a 17.5” torso (backpack size) and the waist is a few inches above my natural waist. Also, it runs a little small. I recommend sizing up.

my favorite piece of gear on the PCT
I wore this dress on my 2024 NOBO thru hike and it was by far my favorite thing I "carried" I never burnt in the desert, even though my skin hadn't seen the sun for half a year thanks to PNW winters. The sleeves and hood kept me warm enough on high mountain passes in the Sierra. During the 110+ degree heatwave in NorCal I was able to stay halfway cool from the airflow the skirt provided. At the point when other people had to replace other sun hoodies, mine stayed free of holes on the shoulders, the only rips being user error (barbed wire fences are in fact, sharp). The pockets were great for my phone, and garbage I accumulated from snacks throughout the day. The drawstring waist was great as a thru-hiker, even though my body changed, it never felt like it was falling off of me, and being able to untie the waist after a couple meals in town was an added bonus. As a long-limbed person, the arms never felt too short on me, and neither did the skirt. All in all, the best item of clothing I've ever used for hiking, hands down. TLDR: If you're on the fence, buy it!

Excellent!!
I highly recommend this for plus size women. I wore it on a recent hike that had little sun protection. I wore bike shorts underneath - it was comfy and I felt protected from the sun.

Exceeded my expectations. Such a simple, unique but badass overachiever in a garment for a lady. My fave new adventure companion. Such a multi-Tasker!!
