Hey everyone, Jackrabbit here! When I stepped up on the PCT southern terminus for my picture I had no idea what to expect, and I preferred it that way. I’ve never been a fan of expectations when thru-hiking, as finding things out on your own is a huge part of the fun.
Since then, I’ve spent the last 75 days and 1190 miles trying to soak up as much as I can of each and every single day. From side trail after side trail in the Sierra’s to dabbling with random activities on zero days, I always try to fill my time with something fun, and to capture it as well.
I think most would agree, experiences are meant to be shared. Most of my favorite memories incorporate the many other dirty, smiling faces I share the trail with. But other favs are those moments alone with the mountains. Here are a few shots of the PCT 2022 through my eyes ...
