Simplify the setup of your Y-Zip Bivy or Bug Shelter from YAMA Mountain
The Stand Alone Rigging Kit allows you to set up the Y-Zip Bivy or Bug Shelter from Yama Mountain Gear on their own (without a tarp). The rigging works with most adjustable trekking poles and requires only four stakes. Adjustability is provided by a section of shock cord at the center of each line and a squeeze hook near each end for easy adjustment.

It might work if you have an extremely short trecking pole with an extra long metal part on the bottom. But for basic budget trecking pole it doesn't work at all its way too short and the part that goes on your pole constantly slips off.
