I purchased this for the purpose of cold soak and cooking. Based on the review recommendations, I filled with water to see if it leaked. It dripped water. There was no other use. I tried to return the pot but either the water or my hands discolored the surface and was deemed unreturnable. I now have an expensive leaky can unreliable for cold soaking. Don’t bother.

Fantastic, much lighter than I thought it would be. The perfect do it all pot for multi day hikes. I think the lid will come in handy as a small bowl. Great for soaking ***** before cooking, saves fuel. Glad I bought it.

this thing is bomb.com. Upgraded from my jetboil, which is a fine stove and super easy to use but pretty clunky. Also, I like being able to cold soak some of my meals and carrying a stove and a talenti jar seemed redundant. Bot is perfect! Seals, so I can cold soak, or carry extra water, fits my fuel/BRS 3000T stove/lighter inside and is a reasonable size for one person. Also, this smaller size (there's a bigger one) comes with the handles which is pretty clutch. Ended up making my own cozy but would have bought one if Vargo made one for this size.
