Nice inexpensive pair of overmitts
I’ve been wearing these overmitts with a pair of gloves in German winter and they seem to be doing a great job of offering an extra layer of warmth, I haven’t tried them in rain yet. I would say though that their construction is on the rough side, if you were to wear these gloveless, bits of the fabric that aren't cleaning sown away can poke into your skim leading to a bit of discomfort. But you get what you pay for, one could also do this and seam seal if necessary.
Mitts are the titz
Used them over some fleece gloves as waterproofing in the snow. Pack down tiny fit in my rain jacket pocket for when I need them. For the $$$ they are great; cut the wind well. The fastening mechanism is clunky but not difficult but designed for long term frequent use. I guess there are (inelegant) trade offs for bulletproof & economical. I’d buy again but likely won’t need to. NOTE to manufacturers: don’t attach your name tag to essential seaming. No one wants it. Silk screen your label instead.

I went ahead and seam sealed these just to make sure, but they're awesome and weigh nothing! I put them over a pair of Enlightened Equipment mitts with handwarmers and WOW are they toasty and dry. I haven't put them through severe rain yet but I have trust. These are grippy and less sloppy then many waterproof overmitts I've tried in the past.
Light weight base glove covers
Easily fits in a pocket over my regular gloves, sturdy and happy with quality. Highly recommend for price.
