Care: Secure all buckles and straps by connecting them together. Hand wash in cold water using mild soap. Rinse and hang to dry. Use a clean brush or rag with soapy water to clean spots and hard-to-clean areas.

United StatesDecent pack, double check the color...
Thought I ordered the orange bag since that is the first picture but default is the colorful one. Oh well. My dog is about 45 lbs and near the top range for the medium pack but it works once you get all the straps adjusted so the middle straps do not rub the armpits. The bags on the medium seem small and are not big enough for a 1L water bottle which is a bummer. They will hold a regular 500ml bottle and dog food so it will still reduce my pack weight by about 4 lbs but I wonder how the large would work. The middle and rear strap buckles have adjustment locks on the buckles but the fronts just have Velcro at the end of the straps. After re-tightening the front a couple times I figured out that you have to roll and Velcro the extra strap so it jams into the buckle and prevents loosening. The only issue I have had so far is one of the middle buckles came installed backwards but luckily the stitches at the end of that strap were not done correctly so no tools were needed to undo it and put the buckle on right. Now I just need to sew it up at some point so it doesn't come back out or start to frey.

I think this is one of the best packs out there. checks all the boxes: - easily detachable bag - easy to put on - comfortable - easy to spot - plenty of storage - lightweight I like that it has two color options. most other similar products seem to have one color. not sure why. we got the multi colored one because why not. my 9 year old Border Collie loves backpacking and so far this one has served us well. previously we used the Palisades and it worked well for several years but when we looked for a new pack, this felt like an upgrade, and I think it was. the bag attachment systems seems much better and when you make it to camp, the first thing you do is offload your pup and the simpler it is, the happier you'll both be. also, our old harness required the dog to step in, and not sure why. this harness is so simple to strap in. the only issue I could think of, and it's minor, is the side straps. the adjustment was fine but now I have a wall of strap to roll and it tends to slide up. has no effect on comfort or function. just trying to find a place to improve. I think I may just cut the extra webbing since I don't imagine him putting on 30 lbs any time soon. or maybe Velcro it to itself so it stays put. not sure overall, love the pack. would recommend to anyone looking. happy trails!

The pack fits perfectly and is well designed and well made. There is plenty of space in the pouches and just have to make sure I don’t overload the pup with too much weight. I like that you can also use as a harness and remove the pack portion. The colors are also fun.

I bought the large for my 10 month old Great Dane. He's 135 lbs but the harness has way more room to grow with him. Thee harness does not irritate his skin at all and I think that is due to the padded straps. The pack does not shift to one side or the other on him with even loads. Overall, I am extremely happy with this pack and I would say my pup is too.
Great Value Pack
i've had the pathfinder (size large) for a few months now and my aussie has taken it on an overnight trip and numerous day hikes and neighborhood walks. overall i think this is an awesome pack and a great value for the price. pros: good size pockets excellent overall build quality i love the 6 point harness and the ability to put it one or off w/o the dog stepping through a strap love the chest pad d ring leash attachement and rear handle type attachement gear loops on top of pack are a great touch i like the anti flap loops on the underside of the saddle bags i like the attachment system for the bags to the harness. i love that the padded parts at buckles overlap for extra comfort and protection from rubbing. cons: limited color options i wish the anti-flap loops were lower on the bags and both had the buckle feature. not sure why one has that and one doesn't i wish there was more reflective parts on both the harness and the bags the plastic pull tabs came off 2 of the zipper pulls almost immediately. not a big deal and the overall build quality seems excellent but that was disappointing.
