Wilderness Wipes will clean and refresh you when a shower, or even just water, isn't a possibility. The extra thick fiber is soft and gentle on your skin, removing salt and unpleasant odors caused by sweat, with no need to rinse. Formulated to be gentle to your skin and the environment, Wilderness Wipes are pH balanced and are readily compostable* after use.
Unlike the synthetic (often polyester) materials commonly used for wipes, Veocel viscose is a plant-based fiber that is biodegradable and compostable. Veocel viscose is a non-woven material which is soft to the touch and gentle on the skin. As used in Wilderness Wipes, it is perfect for absorbing sweat, oils and salts.
Features:
- 100% Viscose fiber
- Extra thick wipes
- Contains aloe vera and vitamin E
- Skin friendly
- Biodegradable and compostable*
- Resealable packet** (NOT individually wrapped)
*Please follow Leave No Trace principles and pack out your Wilderness Wipes!
**The pack is resealable, but some evaporation will occur once the pack is opened. Repacking a small number of wipes in a Ziploc bag or OPSAK helps maintain moisture.

I wish
Work as advertised. I just wish they were unscented; I'd be a little wary using them in bear territory.

Good purchase
These wipes worked well. The size was great for a nightly clean down. The only downside was I couldn't bring just enough wipes for my 4 day trip. I typically use individual sealed shower wipes and I can count out how many I need.
Love these!
perfect at the end of the hike to wipe off the sunscreen, the pits and all the creases that tend to sweat. feels great on my face! i like them so much i’ve started to use them at home when i need to run an errand but no time (or desire) to shower. i don’t find them sticky at all, but i’ve heard about some people who do. i think it’s the people, not the wipes. :-)
