The Bristlecone Bivy provides a waterproof floor with a water resistant upper to protect your quilt from spray and mist. Featuring a large mesh window and long U shaped zipper extending from waist level across the top, allowing for easy entry and exit. Designed to work well with both pyramid shelters and tarps.
ROBIC® high tenacity yarn and UTS coating provide extra tear strength, abrasion resistance, and it is less slick than a traditional silicone coating. Reduced seams in the floor for increased weather resistance. Full bug protection keeps the creepy crawlies at bay, making the bivy ideal for use under a tarp or floorless shelter.

Limited use at this point, but this bivy is really well made and exactly what I had been searching for. The bivy can be opened from either side and zippers are super smooth. For anyone wondering about the wide option… I wound up exchanging a regular sized bivy for a regular/wide for situations where a thicker sleeping pad will be used. I like to be able to fully bend at the knees and sometimes store gear with me when inside. The regular width was close, but the wide gives me the space I need. The mesh over the head area is also wider and breathes well. I am 5’10 and the regular length bivy is also long enough to provide additional space from head to toe. Love it.

did exactly what i needed it to do. was more compact then expected that was great. was thrilled it had straps inside to hold my quilt. also love my quilt i have from you also.

Very light and breathable - particularly good in a hot dry climate, eg. The Canaries. For general UK use, an additional tarp is a good idea.

Excellent piece of kit. It's great to be able to get UL kit via GGG because here in the UK we would never see it otherwise. As far as UL Hiking is concerned, you guys are light years ahead, and this bivi is just that. A whole new level of brilliant for soggy old UK camping
