Update: Burrito Bivy width is now only offered in 42" wide option (formerly "Wide" width)

Do you like burritos? We bet you do. We don’t recommend eating a burrito in your bivy, but you won’t be the first…or the last.

ANDA Ultralight's Burrito Bivy is your ground cover, wind stopper, splash guard, bug blocker solution. A waterproof bottom fabric keeps you and your sleep system dry. Windproof and highly water resistant top fabric adds splash back protection during those stormy nights the rain splash back sneaks under the ANDA tarp. Bug mesh covers your head with an adjustable cord-lock to keep the mosquitos out of reach. The Burrito Bivy is designed to be clipped into the integrated inner tie-outs on the ANDA tarp, to hold your sleep system in place in case of windy conditions.

For fair weather nights, just use the bivy only for stargazer / cowboy camping mode. Stake down your bivy with the shock cord at the corner tie-outs in case any gusts try to blow away your UL pillow when nature calls in the middle of the night. (Trust us, it can happen.)

Features:

  • Perimeter is sewn with a French seam, no exposed fabric edges or fraying
  • YKK zipper tape is triple stitched for a smooth and durable finish
  • YKK Double zipper pulls, one outside and one inside for easy entry and exit
  • Grosgrain zipper tabs sewn at both zipper ends, outside and inside for easy entry and exit
  • Cord lock for quick & easy adjustment of the bug mesh
  • Grosgrain tie-outs sewn at each corner allow the bivy to easily be clipped into the ANDA tarp tie-outs, or staked to the ground in windy conditions
  • All rigging is removable and replaceable to your liking

Small, light, big, wide.

Great solution for me. I need a bivi bag voluminous enough to allow my down quilt to loft enough to keep my hips warm, (side sleeper), while on my Exped airmat. My previous NorthFace Assault Bivi couldn’t do this and was freezing during cold dry nights in the Mohave. This bag is perfect.

Thought it would be thicker but it worked well.

This thing is dope

I came from owning the SOL escape bivy and I’m not a very big guy at 5’3”. I was crampt at the shoulders. This bivy is a lot more roomy and also has a bug net. Also is lighter and compressed to about 1/3 the size. Love this thing and I would recommend it to anyone considering getting into using bivy’s.

Looks good!

i just received this bivy, unpackaged and laid it out and inspected it. although i haven’t used it outdoors yet i can tell this will work out great. i’m familiar with the materials used as i’ve made gear of my own with these same materials and i am confident this will keep the rain off of me and my quilt and also keep the insects out. the sewing and craftsmanship are great!! good stuff.
