The Alpha™ Camp Pants are a perfect ultralight replacement for your camping thermals, as well as a great choice for under or over your hiking shorts/pants on those colder adventures. Made with 1/2” elastic at the waist and a gusset running from leg to leg for added mobility.
Polartec® Alpha™ Direct fleece fabric has an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, providing active insulation and helping regulate body warmth for optimized comfort during stop-start activities. Its lightweight lofted fibers, mesh knit, and hydrophobic qualities make Alpha™ warmth-to-weight dependable, highly breathable, and fast-drying.

These pants exceeded expectations as my new sleep pant! While the fit is a little tighter than I originally thought I'd like, I used them 3 nights in the Colorado mountains this past weekend and loved how well they kept me cozy. I would've liked a different color, but not that big of a deal. The light gray color just feels a bit of a choice for a pant that is made of such airy fabric. Overall, very pleased and would recommend!

So glad I purchased the pants to go along with the hoodie that I bought two years earlier! The pants are niche for me, being I would never hike with them and only use them for sleeping when the temps call for it. As always the GGG crew was just AWESOME to work with!!! These Alpha Camp Pants by FarPointe are lightweight in the pack. They fold down to a small profile. They are warm for such a light weight but best used over a set of long underwear on a cold night. They also feel like you are at Club Med instead of a back-country camp. I wouldn't want to hike with them as they are rather delicate but if used correctly, they can provide comfort, extra warmth at night and peace of mind that you have the elements at bay for a while.
